Audit Senior

Butler Rose are excited to be working with the London office of a Top 50 accountancy firm in recruiting for Audit Senior staff. The grade II listed building and Chesterfield sofas give the impression of a traditional accountancy practice, but the working culture is very different. Reporting into the audit managers and partners you will be responsible for leading a team in undertaking audit assignments on medium sized companies with turnover averaging around £10 million.

The successful applicants duties will include (but not limited to) leading a team on planning and carrying out audits within time and cost budgets, liaising with other departments to ensure all jobs are completed. Audit will make up 80% of the role, the remaining 20% will be preparing financial statements and tax computations.

The ideal candidate for this role will be ACA or ACCA qualified (nearly will be considered) with at least 3 years experience in a role with a minimum of 40% Audit. There is a huge focus on customer service and communication skills as a majority of work will be undertaken on client premises (all within 20 miles of your office location, no overnight stays).
