Finance Business Partner

My client - a well known retail business based in Liverpool, are looking for a Qualified Finance Business Partner (Marketing and Recruitment) for their Merseyside Headquarters. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a business facing, fast paced, commercial environment.

Description

The Finance Business Partner at this leading retail business will be required to;

• You will be responsible for producing in depth financial output for activity relating to Marketing & Recruitment.
• You will be expected to proactively identify emerging risks and opportunities within Marketing & Recruitment and bring them to the attention of senior stakeholders as appropriate, together with suggestions of actions to take.
• You will provide a balance of support and challenge to Marketing & Recruitment to ensure commercial objectives remain on track.
• Success in the role demands the timely delivery of accurate, well-presented and relevant information in a user-friendly form.

• You will work with Marketing & Recruitment to create innovative solutions to emerging risks and issues.

• You will prepare commercial commentary on performance, key issues and business outlook.

• You will be able to explain results and forecasts to stakeholders either verbally, or through the production of concise presentations which clearly distil clear trends which can then inform and direct debate as to the performance and commercial decisions to be taken.

• You will analyse and challenge areas of trading performance within Marketing & Recruitment, ensuring findings are clearly communicated to the relevant functional team and Head of Marketing & Recruitment.

• You will provide advice on the wider commercial implications of decisions/new initiatives.

• You will be a key member of the finance team and will be expected to play an active part as we progress

Profile

The Finance Business Partner will be;

Qualified or newly qualified accountant

Retail experience and large business background preferred but not essential

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work in partnership with operations and non-finance staff

Job Offer

£40,000 - £50,000 basic salary
