Commercial Finance Manager

Our client, a dynamic and constantly evolving FTSE 100 consumer-led brand, with exciting strategy in place to deliver long term growth targets, is looking to source a top calibre Commercial Finance Manager to drive these plans and maximise results, by challenging & supporting Commercial Directors across the business.

You will be responsible for leading the commercial analysis of £1.1bn of revenue, as well as allocated Marketing spend and be tasked with managing one part-qualified analyst. Your key stakeholders will be the Brand Finance Director, MD, Chief Marketing Officer, Commercial Director & E-Commerce Director.

Main duties include:
* Actively engaging with Commercial Directors to ensure a 'no surprises' mentality
* Co-ordinate across the department to produce succinct reporting on performance
* Lead the development and implementation of commercial reporting suite; defining KPIs and improve insight and analysis
* Act as key point of contact between financial planning team and commercial stakeholders to ensure commercial strategic direction is translated for the 5 year business plan
* Lead the sales budget and central marketing budgets
* Drive forward looking culture within Finance team, proactively identifying risks and opportunities

Candidates will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified with stellar academics and a proven track record achieving results in a commercially focused role within a large, blue-chip environment. You must also have advanced Excel modelling skills to perform the role to a high standard.

Success in this role with require the individual to deliver financial objectives, as well as establishing themselves as a well-respected member of the broader commercial team. You will help drive commercial agenda, with a proactive and engaging attitude.

Essential softer skills will be the ability to challenge, influence and educate others, in a wholly professional manner, whilst maintaining key relationships. You will have had exposure to roles where finance acts as a key partner in driving forward the business and applied analytical rigour and commercial nous to meet expectations.
