Page Personnel are recruiting an Assistant Accountant for a well known UK wide business services organisation, with key finance offices based in Halifax.
Client Details
A business services organisation that has just gone through a period of growth, looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their busy finance team in Halifax.
Description
As an Assistant Accountant, you will be working as part of a fast paced finance team, reporting in to a qualified accountant, responsible for assisting with the preparation of the monthly management accounts pack.
Duties will include, however are not limited to, posting of journals, predominantly accruals and prepayments, maintaining the fixed asset register and calculating depreciation, providing variance analysis and liaising with budget holders and assisting with the production of forecasts.
This is an excellent opportunity for a bright graduate or an AAT qualified assistant accountant to join a fantastic, progressive opportunity in a full ACCA/CIMA study support role.
Profile
The successful candidate will:
- Be either AAT qualified/have a relevant finance or accounting degree
- Have worked in an assistant accountant role previously
- Have intermediate Excel skills
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Be looking to study ACCA/CIMA
