Group IT sits at the heart of the Bank, providing technology services that ensure we meet our customers & colleagues needs on a day to day basis, enabling the realisation of our Group strategy through the delivery of existing and new services.

IT Finance helps Group IT achieve its goals by providing robust governance, control and partnering insight to optimise the group's IT investment and run costs.

This role sits within the IT Projects area.

The successful individual will be a natural when it comes to relationship management skills, with a proven ability to build networks, challenge, influence and agree actions.

You will be familiar with project change lifecycle, along with knowledge and understanding of technology in a financial services organisation (or equivalent) and demonstrate an understanding of the drivers of IT costs (particularly resource costs associated with managing approx 16,000+ colleagues including our partners, application support resources & third party contracts).

The role will require you to challenge and stretch yourself , helping to drive the business forward and ensuring that Lloyds Banking Group as an organisation continues to progress towards our strategic aim of being the best bank for Customers.

You will be professionally qualified (CIMA or equivalent); demonstrate commercial acumen, stakeholder management skills and presence; and have experience managing month end financials. You will provide effective partnering to identify and drive cost reduction initiatives, gain a deep understanding of the underlying cost levers & drivers for the business area supported, to be able to educate & articulate to business stakeholders on this. In addition you will also support 3rd party contract negotiations and provide challenge and governance oversight.
