Treasury and Pension Manager
Robertson Bell Finance are proud to be exclusively partnered with Southern Housing Group in their search for a Treasury & Pension Manager to be based at their head office in Farringdon, London.
Southern Housing Group is one of the largest housing associations in southern England and has a well-established reputation as a successful business with social objectives.
With over 30,000 properties across various tenure types; council housing, shared ownership, affordable rent, private market rent and outright sales, serving more than 67,000 people across London and the South East.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a 'Treasury and Pension Manager' to work for an organisation that makes a tangible difference to lives and communities.
This dynamic and multifaceted Group have an annual rent revenue of £160m and are now at an exciting stage of their development. This newly created role; Treasury & Pension Manager will lead the Groups treasury functions. Duties will include, but are not limited to:
*Lead on monitoring the Groups; Loan portfolio, covenant risk, interest rate risk, funding requirements and banking and lending relationships
*Develop effective systems and processes for loan covenant information, debt portfolio and interest rate data, security portfolio status and property security availability
*Participate in negotiations of new and/ or revised borrowing proposals to deliver planned funding requirements
*Support in the relationships with actual and prospective funders and investors
*Supervise the investment of available cash resources deposited with bank and/or money markets
*Liaise with your colleagues across the business to support the development of funding strategies that meet the Group business plan
*Assist in funding requirement for new business opportunities, assessing the impact upon loan covenants
*Manage, coach and develop the Treasury & Pensions Officer
The successful candidate could be working in any business sector but must have a demonstrable track record of delivery and success. You will be a qualified accountant, corporate treasurer or banker and will have the ability to communicate effectively across the business.
