Financial Controller for SME in Bury
Your new company
The company are a privately owned and family run SME in the Bury area. They have experienced steady growth over the last few years and are looking to continue this moving forward. They currently have an opportunity for a candidate to join the business as the number one in finance and lead the transactional team.
Your new role
You will be responsible for the preparation of monthly financial information and managing cash flow. You will also prepare the annual division budget as well as delivering ad-hoc financial and business projects alongside other duties. Further, you will business partner and provide commercial support to the company's Managing Director, advising on strategy to achieve continuous steady growth.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA). You will also need experience as a financial controller in a family run environment. Lastly, you will need to demonstrate the ability to lead and get the most out of the transactional team.
What you'll get in return
You will get a salary of up to £50,000 and the opportunity to work for a stable family run business. Further, you will get the opportunity to work strategically with the managing director and advise on how to continue the growth achieved over the past few years.
