Cost Accountant Role for Growing Legal Firm

Your new company
The company are a successful solicitors based in the east Manchester area. They have gone through an exciting period of growth in the last few years and will be looking to continue this moving forward. There is a strong family feel about the culture and you will be joining a company with real long term prospects.

Your new role
You will manage and develop the accounts team across the sales, purchase and nominal ledgers, management accounts, sales order processing, payroll, cashiers and clerical. You will also be spending a lot of time costing. This is a fantastic opportunity which will require you to have an extremely hands-on approach.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to either be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or QBE. It is also an essential to have strong standard costing and purchasing experience due to the time the fee earners work on. Further, it is essential you have experience working in organisations with less than a £7 million turnover. Without this experience, your application will not be successful.
