Senior Internal Audit

My client is a global mobility solutions company across Europe, Africa and the Middle East looking for a group operational internal auditor to be based in North London with travel up to 60%.

The group operational internal auditor must ensure that the group has an efficient and effective control environment focussed on supporting the achievement of the group's objectives. This is achieved by preparing and conducting operational audits, review and leading projects covering all the group's activities internationally.

The ideal candidate must be a qualified accountant ACA or ACCA with over 3 years in practice. Because there is alot of travel languages are a must. Desired languages are Spanish, German and French. Practical experience of how controls can be effectively utilised in operational and management areas across all levels of the business is needed.

Finally internal auditors must have excellent inter personal and communication skills, experience of operating in different cultural environments both functional and international, and the confidence to deal with management at all levels in order to maintain their credibility. Experience of working in an international environment would be an advantage.
