My client is a multinational defense, security and aerospace company headquartered in the South of England. They are looking for an audit manager who is qualified and eligible to work in the UK. Travel is around 40% and the role boasts good career development.
The internal audit function is a crucial element within the business and over the next few years they are looking to recruit and build a future generation of leaders. The Internal Audit function is at the heart of the business providing a valuable service to many departments.
The key accountabilities for the successful candidate include:
- Presenting clear and concise reports to business unit management, committees, influencing decision making and key outcomes, and developing risk aware culture.
- Provide recommendations on the system where weaknesses, gaps and areas for further improvement have been identified.
- Participate and lead the presentation and discussion with project leads, regional managers and heads of departments at audit meetings
- Undertake regular audits of projects across all business units.
To be successful in the this role and business you will ideally have to be from a Big 4 graduate with either the ACA or ACCA qualification and some post qualification experience within engineering, aerospace or securty. You will need to be self motivated , have a challenging mind set and ability to challenge at all levels.
