Finance Business Partner

Responsibilities & Deliverables:

• Monitoring all aspects of financial performance on the program
• Building and maintaining financial models - budgets, forecasts, P&L
• Proactively interrogating data, investigating irregularities in financial information to ensure it is accurate
• Providing advice and assistance to senior management on a range of financial matters, including tax issues, resourcing, expenditure
• Producing timely and accurate financial reports and information to help senior management make informed decisions
• Continually reviewing, improving and implementing changes to reports and processes
• A wide range of ad hoc tasks as required by the stakeholders on the programme

Skills & Experience Required:

• Part qualified accountant preferred but not essential
• Substantial experience in a Finance role
• Some experience of working in a commercial environment
• Proven track record of handling and analysing complex data using Microsoft Excel
• Experienced in producing charts using Microsoft PowerPoint
• Confident in presenting and communicating technical information
• Ability to learn new systems quickly
• Experience of managing multiple priorities to meet tight deadlines
• Able to work effectively within a team and independently
