Top 10 Firm - Manchester City Centre - Management Accountant
Your new company
You will be working with one of the UK's Top 10 Accountancy Practices in the heart of Manchester city centre. They are looking to appoint an experienced management accountant to join their growing outsourcing team, managing a portfolio of clients.
Your new role
As a Management Accountant, you will be working to provide a comprehensive service to clients in the leisure industry You will be responsible for maintaining the clients accounting records and preparing monthly management accounting packs along with commentary. You will liaise with the Financial Controllers based out on clients site to discuss their financial position and there will be occasional travel to clients site. You will also have responsibility for preparing the year end statutory accounts for your clients.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to undertake this role, you must be ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA qualified and have worked within a Management Accounts role previously. You must be able to prepare monthly management accounts packs as well as creating, posting journals, and dealing with any unresolved issues with the clients. You will be an organised individual who is able to meet targets and deadlines and it is essential that you are able to communicate effectively with the client but also with colleagues across the firm.
