A reputable and well established award winning business advisory and accountancy firm based in Blackburn are seeking a soon to be or recently qualified accountant to join their corporate services team as an Audit & Accounts Senior. The firm have been established for over 80 years mainly working with family and owner managed businesses and they pride themselves on their client focused culture. This Audit & Accounts Senior opportunity has arisen due to continued growth within the Corporate Team.

Your new role
As an Audit Senior you will be responsible for undertaking a range of accounting and audit assignments for small and medium size businesses. This will involve the preparation of year end financial statements, the preparation of corporation tax computation, planning and overseeing statutory audits and supervising junior staff on site. This is fantastic role offering a lot of client exposure and you will be responsible for liaising with clients on a regular basis. Working in one of the firms largest teams you will have excellent peer support and report into a manager who will help you to develop your skills and knowledge.

What you'll need to succeed
The firm are looking to appoint a soon to be or qualified ACA / ACCA accountant. You will have trained within general practice and have a proven track record of undertaking statutory audits as either a semi senior or senior. As the role will be client facing you must also be able to demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to work autonomously.
