Financial Accountant

Our client, an innovative and forward thinking business, require an Accountant to join their finance team in Hemel Hempstead. As the Accountant your responsibilities will include producing management accounts with an explanation of variance and supporting commentary, balance sheet reconciliations, preparation and submission of VAT and intrastat, review of monthly profit and loss, maintaining fixed asset register, financial reporting and control and financial support to the senior finance team and business as required. The ideal candidate will be CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified and have strong Excel and ERP experience. This is a busy and demanding role and will suit someone who is looking for a broad remit and to work across the finance function.  The ability to work autonomously is essential along with working to tight deadlines.
