Finance Business Partner

A leading university is currently seeking a proactive Finance Business Partner to fulfil an exciting permanent position.

This not-to-be-missed role shall see the successful candidate enjoy a highly varied and autonomous workload and the chance to make a significant impact to the organisation through impacting process change and providing insightful analysis of commercial activities and opportunities.

Reporting to the Head of Business Support, the successful candidate will be allocated their own schools and corporate functions and tasked with producing monthly management accounts and information for their functional areas, will play a key role in driving an understanding of financial performance through effective budgetary review and business partnering and will conduct forecasting and analysis of variances to ensure financial targets are met.

In addition, the successful candidate will adopt a continuous improvement approach to processes and will conduct analysis of projects and potential commercial ventures, including producing business cases and conducting modelling to drive effective business decision-making.

The successful candidate will have a strong management accounting background, the communications skills to work with and influence stakeholders across all levels and the ability to drive change.
