Business Intelligence and finance systems are an increasingly central part of any organisation. They allow the strategic leaders to make informed and timely decisions. As big data continues to grow, there will be an increasing need to manage and structure this data, to produce reports that are meaningful.

This is where you come in. Well, you and your brilliant Qlikview skills!

Qlikview Developer required! Someone who loves a data structure, gets excited about in-memory analytics. Someone who embraces the inner geek and loves writing a SQL statement. (I'm a bit of a secret geek and I'm pretty jealous of whoever gets this job!)

My client have high hopes for Qlikview. They want it to be a central part of their decision making process, but currently, they need someone who can overhaul problems with the data structures and make sense of the system. This probably isn't a super user role. It needs someone like you, someone who can get down to a granular level and build a solid system from the ground up.

Importantly, you'll also be keen on speaking to people. People in the business. People who make important decisions. You'll love being sat at your computer to build the solutions, but you won't want to hide behind the screen every single working day! You'll want to help to build solutions that make a real difference.

So what do you need?

Ideally, a background in Business Intelligence development. It doesn't HAVE to be qlikview, but you definitely need to understand that a star schema isn't something you see when you look up to the sky.

You also need to know that Agile and Waterfall aren't describing natural landscapes or your nimbleness! You'll have work on complex projects and will have had experience of building BI solutions in an end user environment.
You may have been in a consulting business before, but you need to be happy with managing data structures and taking care of systems administration. Building BI reports that reach every level of a business and working in a relatively BAU environment.
