Financial Controller – FMCG (Commercial and Operations) - £60, 000 plus package.
THE ONE GROUP have been exclusively engaged to recruit a financial controller for a commercially and operationally focused position with an FMCG business. The role will form part of the senior management team and afford the individual autonomous responsibility for steering the finance function.
Applicants MUST hold previous experience of working within the FMCG industry, ideally within a manufacturing based facility. As a qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) the individual will hold a number of years’ experience managing a finance function, partnering with operations and leading the commercial relationships for the business.
The key responsibilities of the financial controller will require the individual to oversee the production and development of the BAU reporting, rolling forecast and budget process. The autonomous role will have full P&L responsibility for a £70m t/o site. As part of the exec team the individual will be responsible for the financial control and working capital management for the division, including strategy and investment appraisal. The financial controller must have a hunger and appetite to drive change, continually seeking to challenge and improve processes. The position will manage a team of 3 direct reports and an overall finance function of 6.
The role will offer a starting salary of £60k plus a competitive package. A relocation package is on offer for geographically flexible individuals.
