Head of Finance

A leading brand in the international development sector, which has seen considerable growth over recent years, is currently recruiting a new Head of Finance.

Operating in over 30 countries worldwide, this organisation supports some of the world's most disadvantaged people, working to giving them access to fair treatment and rights, regardless of their background.

As Head of Finance, you will lead a medium-sized team (mostly qualified) to deliver an effective business partnering service to internal and external clients. Working predominately in a project-finance environment, you will be required to manage multiple budgets and ensure strict KPI's are implemented and monitored.

In addition, you will ensure that all statutory requirements are adhered to and financial controls & processes are continuously developed to ensure best practice.

To be considered for this role, you will be a fully qualified accountant with relevant PQE in a complex, ideally global organisation. You will have excellent strategic and technical accounting skills, with demonstrable experience of driving through business partnering.

We are open to sector, although some knowledge of charity accounting principles will be required. Knowledge of institutional funding from the likes of DfID and EU is also beneficial.
