Interim Site Financial Controller - South Lincolnshire - £day rate negotiable

THE ONE GROUP is urgently seeking an experienced site financial controller/finance manager from an FMCG background to undertake an interim assignment for a client based in South Lincolnshire. The position will be for a minimum 6-month contract to cover an internal secondment.

Applicants MUST hold previous experience of working within the FMCG industry, ideally within a manufacturing based facility. As a qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) the individual will hold a number of years? experience managing a finance function, partnering with operations and leading the commercial relationships for the business.

The key responsibilities of the financial controller will require the individual to oversee the production and development of the BAU reporting, rolling forecast and budget process. The autonomous role will have full P&L responsibility for a ?70m t/o site. As part of the exec team the individual will be responsible for the financial control and working capital management for the division, including strategy and investment appraisal. The financial controller must have a hunger and appetite to drive change, continually seeking to challenge and improve processes. The position will manage a team of 3 direct reports and an overall finance function of 6.
