A pioneering private equity firm with an AUM of over £10bn seeks ACA, Transaction Services / Advisory Manager from the big4 for Investor Relations Manager position.

 

The trend of ACAs going into Investor Relations is ever more popular with businesses. The roles are an excellent opportunity to use you both the numerical and analytical side of your ACA with your strategic hat on. They offer the opportunity to understand current and future investments, deals and strategies, analyse and interrupt them and inform and/or market to some of the most sophisticated investors globally; skills core to executive positions in many sectors.

 

Reporting directly into 2 Partners of the firm working within a team of 5 people responsibilities are progressive but will initially include:

Investor Communications and Reports

  • Attend Investment Committee and other internal meetings to understand current portfolio and investment that are in the pipeline
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the funds' investments, financial reports and bespoke financial reporting system in order to be self-sufficient in accessing relevant information to be used in reports
  • Liaising across the firm including marketing, finance and investment team professionals as well as external service providers
  • Regular interactions with finance team members and CFO regarding reporting updates and information flows

Fully responsible for the following investor communications:

  • Producing Limited Partners' Meeting material including the main presentation slides, data tables and the presentation to the Advisory Committee, oversee the co-ordination with any external General Partners or speakers presenting at the meeting
  • Working on the Annual Manager's Report and quarterly updates
  • Putting together the Quarterly webcast, includes the recording process for the CIO and Partners
  • Quarterly report updates on each active Fund
  • New deal case studies and announcements for distribution to the investor community
  • Bespoke Investor presentations summarising their investment in funds to include information on the wider business, deals made and the market
  • 'Cheatsheet' for use internally offering key statistics of each fund, and the investment portfolio

Limited Partner Meetings

  • Project manage the Limited Partners' Meeting process from planning through to completion
  • Work closely with the Events Team with the logistics of the Limited Partners' Meeting to provide insight from an investor's perspective

Innovation and IR Enhancements

  • Generate new ideas to the way in which we communicate and present information to the investor community
  • Monitor industry best practice and contribute new ideas to help create the company's global IR programme
