Senior Management Accountant

Not for profit organisation based in Manchester looking for a senior accountant to join their growing team.

Your new company
I am working with a medium sized housing association based in the Oldham area in order to recruit a senior accountant. The organisation are highly regarded and seen as a choice employer in the area. As they look to grow and build their finance function, they now have a requirement for a qualified finance professional to join the team.

Your new role
You will work within a close knit team and have a key role in producing the day to day and monthly accounts. Working closely with the finance manager you will be responsible for producing monthly management accounts, support the production of budgets and forecasts, take ownership of the rent accounting function and aid the completion of year end statutory accounting. You will also be involved in maintaining and managing the Open Accounts system and improve other processes throughout finance.

What you'll need to succeed
I am looking to speak with qualified accountants (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) who have strong management accounting experience. My client is open on industry experience but it would be beneficial that you have experience of improving and implementing processes and systems. It would also be preferred that you have experience of using an Open Accounts system.
