Management Accountant

An immediate requirement has arisen for a strong Management Accountant to support a growing business which has an increase in workload in the finance function due to recent contract wins and continued expansion. This is an ongoing temporary position initially, however the business is in a position where they will soon be creating a new permanent position in a similar remit, therefore a temporary to permanent arrangement will be considered for the successful candidate.

Working alongside the Financial Controller, your remit will include:

*Preparation of detailed monthly management accounts including P&L and balance sheet
*Assisting with statutory accounts preparation for upcoming year end
*Overseeing ledger work and advise where necessary
*Providing ad hoc analysis and reporting for Senior Management

Ideally you will have a strong academic record including CIMA/ACCA qualification although you must be able to demonstrate relevant experience in a Management Accounting capacity. You will have a flexible and versatile working approach with the ability to quickly pick up processes and demonstrate strong systems skills.
