Financial Controller job in Liverpool paying £55000 to £60000. SME sector experience essential

Your new company
This established SME business has experienced significant growth in the past 2 years. Led by an inspirational CEO, the company has grown to a stage where the owners now require an experienced SME Financial Controller to join the business.

Your new role
Working alongside the Chief Executive you will provide the financial leadership and strategic input to ensure the business meets its business plan and achieves strong growth.
You will manage a small accounts team ensuring that they operate in an effective and efficient manner, using your leadership skills to develop the staff. Your strong financial control skills will ensure that the management accounts are prepared in a timely fashion.

This is a truly diverse role encompassing financial planning, raising finance, capital and investment decision making and swift commercial decision making.

What you'll need to succeed

You'll be a qualified accountant with significant post qualification experience working within the SME sector. Ideally you'll have strong cashflow management skills and experience of raising finance and working with banks.
A development, construction or property management background would be of interest as would experience of working within facilities management.
You should thrive in working with a entrepreneurial leadership team and be a hands on leader of finance.
