This is a newly created position within a fast growing and highly acquisitive PE Backed business (£1.7bn turnover).
We are looking for a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with some PQE in industry or someone straight from Practice (Top 10).
This is a varied and fluid General Accounting role, which has been created due to business growth and the need to create further financial control and identifying efficiencies throughout the finance department. It's a genuine opportunity to set things up and drive change!
Gravitas and strong communication / influencing skills are paramount, in this role where you will be required to work closely with the senior management team.
Working alongside the Director of Financial Control and showing the right level of talent and willingness, you will be given plenty of opportunity to get involved in a variety of ad-hoc financial accounting, analytical and reporting projects. This will include acquisitions and the opportunity to prepare the business for private sale or potential IPO in 2-3 years-time.
This role will be far from routine, it provides a great opportunity to roll your sleeves up, get stuck in and fix things in a fast growing business that is looking to corporately grow up!
