Temporary School Finance Manager
This secondary school, which is part of a small multi academy trust, has an immediate need for an experienced school Finance Manager to maintain the finance function whilst they recruit for the permanent post. Working closely with the Headteacher, you will be responsible for setting the new curriculum budgets and supporting staff on budget management, running the staff payroll and fulfilling the finance post efficiently from the first day. On a day to day basis you will manage the purchase invoices, reconciliations and dealing with all staff queries.
There will be limited handover of this role and you must be able to prioritise your day quickly and effectively. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working within a school finance function and be confident working with minimal instruction. Good IT skills essential, PS Financials desirable. Prior knowledge in managing school finances and reporting figures to the EFA is essential for this role.
