Medium sized expanding business based in North Cambridge seek to recruit a Finance Manager for 3 and a half months.
Your new role
The purpose of the role is to assist the Head of Finance in ensuring the finance team runs smoothly including assisting in period end reporting, budgeting and forecasting. You will be responsible for managing an Accounts Assistant, Cashier and Purchase Ledger team. Key responsibilities will include assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, balance sheet reconciliation. Other duties include cash flow forecasting, month end board pack preparation and reporting.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally candidates will be professionally qualified however those who are qualified by experience will also be considered. Suitable applicants will have previously managed staff and a positive approach to work. You will have strong communication skills and remain calm under pressure. It is essential you enjoy problem solving and continuously strive to improve processes.
