CFO - Part-Time

Our client is an entrepreneurially led SME operating in the fast moving consumer goods sector.

With its operations in Yorkshire, the company has disrupted its sector by bringing high quality, innovative products to market in a timescale and price that its competitors cannot compete with. The group continues to grow organically but is also in the market to make strategically beneficial acquisitions.

Profitable and with tremendous growth prospects, the Company is looking for a right hand person to the CEO who can provide the board with strategic direction, a commercial sense check and mentoring to the financial controller on a three to four day per month basis. This can be flexible depending on the business’s requirements regarding acquisitions and other opportunities as they arise.

This role will appeal to qualified accountants who have developed acute commercial and financial skills in fast paced and challenging industries such as manufacturing, retail and food.  First hand experience of mergers and acquisitions is vital as is the ability to `lend an ear’ to a CEO who is driven, passionate and dynamic. Personal qualities such as good character, trust and integrity are essential to the success of the person in this role.
