My client is an award winning business, looking to recruit a talented management accountant to join their finance team. This position enjoys early autonomy and will work closely with the finance manager, with plenty of access to the key decision makers in the business.
You'll be responsible for the monthly management accounts, with all associated, detailed analysis, commentary and reporting. You'll monitor budgets with actuals vs forecast reporting for different business areas and work closely with key budget holders. With various concurrent projects being undertaken at any one time, you'll also liaise with project managers and off-site teams, monitoring project costs and flagging any variances to budget. This role also focuses on FP&A and with the support of a junior analyst, this role will evaluate KPI's on an ongoing basis to ensure both the validity and accuracy of reports. In addition, there will be some adhoc tasks and department projects around continuous improvement initiatives.
Applicants will ideally be fully qualified (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) candidates or in the final stages of professional studies. First rate communication and personal presentation skills are required, as there is lots of interaction with finance and non-finance stakeholders alike. Good IT skills -particularly on excel - are required. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business at an exciting stage of their development with good long term prospects on offer.
