A growing accountancy practice based near Ramsgate, Thanet is looking to recruit a Semi Senior / Senior Accountant into their expanding department to deliver accounts and tax services to a mixed client base. Based in Thanet, this firm acts for wide ranging, varied client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, OMBs, SMEs, across varied industries and turnovers, up to and over the audit threshold in turnover, with some significant sized corporate clients. You will have opportunity to develop your skills and career, in a leading independent firm in the region with client contact and potential to develop new technical skills.
Description
You will join as a Semi Senior / Senior Accountant, dependent on your level of experience and background as the role can be moulded around the professional. Based in the firms Thanet offices, you role will focus on accounts preparation, corporate tax computations,personal tax returns and bookkeeping to a mixed and varied client base of sole traders, partnerships, OMBs and SMEs, wide ranging in sector and size.
The role offers increasing responsibility, with potential for involvement in project work as your progress within the firm and you will have opportunity to develop your technical accounting skills, with increasing client contact.
Profile
You will be AAT qualified or part qualified, or ACA / ACCA part qualified / finalist, or a newly, recently qualified, Semi Senior / Senior Accountant, with at least 2 - 4 years, or more, experience gained in the accountancy practice sector, preparing accounts for varied clients, along with some audit experience ideally. You will be looking to further your career in a leading Devon based firm of chartered accountants, offering progression and development for your career.
Job Offer
£16,000 - circa £22,000 dependent on experience, background and level, plus benefits.
