Treasury Manager

We are working with a housing association based in Worcestershire to recruit a Treasury Manager. This is a vital role for the business and the successful applicant will be responsible for the company’s loan portfolio and long term viability.

As the Treasury Manager, you will be responsible for leading and motivating 3 direct reports within the finance team to ensure that agreed targets are achieved and that a customer-orientated service is provided.

Main duties and responsibilities will include managing the company’s existing treasury facilities, ensuring that budgetary control is maintained and that interests and prepayments are paid on time. Also, arranging for any new funding or variations to existing facilities and managing current accounts and investments. Compiling a 40 year business plan will be a part of the role to ensure that the company remains financially viable and meets its financial loan covenants over the long term.

We are looking for an individual who has vast experience within treasury and the arranging of new funding and refinancing existing funding. You will have successfully managed a small team successfully to achieve agreed outcomes and targets and be a confident communicator and negotiator with the ability to take complex data and break it down to present to Senior Management and Board Members.

You will hold a professional accountancy qualification CIPFA/CIMA/ACCA/ACA/ICAEW/ICAS and a professional treasury management qualification.
