Management Accountant

This Management Accountant opportunity is fantastic for a CIMA studier looking to expand their manufacturing and analytical skills. This role will be management of 2 locations and will have responsibility to produce a full month end pack including commentary.

This role is based in Warrington and flexible hours are available

Description

This Group Management Accountant opportunity is a mid-level role offering the opportunity to fully manage a product area of the business and will offer a varied financial and management accounting remit, your duties will be as below;

*Management of month end accounting and reporting for allocated remit within UK business

*Budgeting and forecasting, Weekly, Monthly, Quarter and annually on product base including monthly commentary on variance

*Project management for new business areas, acquisitions and productivity

*KPI reporting on performance

*Fixed assets and overhead costing

*Reconcile all stock areas to nominal each month. This includes sale, cost of sales, trading margin variables (TMV) and relevant stock related balance sheet reconciliations

*Control rebates and price protection

*Maintain system master file integrity. That is, product master, warehouse structures, nominal distributions etc.

*Potentially management of an accounts assistant depending on experience

*Manage escalations from Purchase Ledger, Credit Control and Procurement relating to your business area

Profile

This Management Accountant role will require the following skills;

*Active studies of CIMA or exemptions gained from AAT or an Accounting degree

*Accountancy skills such as WIP accounts, Fixed Assets, Stock Accounting, Balance Sheet Reconciliations

*Excellent systems experience and Excel skills

A fantastic attitude and willing to learn and develop to support business growth
