Finance Manager, Cambridge, 12 Month Contract

An opportunity has arisen to cover maternity leave for 12 months for a software business based centrally in Cambridge. This is a chance to work for a very successful and fast growing organisation with over 150 employees and £11 million turnover.
Your new role
As Finance Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day to day running of the finance team. This will include the management of two members of staff. Key responsibilities include: preparation of monthly management accounts, reconciliation, managing audit and filing statutory accounts and overseeing payroll. The Finance Manager will also constantly strive to streamline systems and processes.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience working for a software of technology business would be highly advantageous as would working knowledge of Sage. It is essential you have worked in a similar role, managing a small but busy finance team. Ideally you will be professionally qualified although candidates that are qualified by experience will also be considered. Suitable candidates will be immediately available to start employment in the coming weeks. This role requires someone that is hard-working and focussed.
