Finance Business Partner

A well established £1Bn turnover Retail and Distribution business, based in Lichfield, is seeking a commercially focused Finance Business Partner for a permanent vacancy in the busy Finance team.  Reporting in to the Head of Commercial Finance, this role will pay a basic salary in the range of £50,000 to £55,000 + pension + annual bonus up to 20%.  This hire has the potential to replace the Head of Commercial Finance in 2-3 years time, and you will be developed accordingly to put yourself in a strong position to achieve this.

The division the Finance Business Partner will be focused on is going through a significant period of change, brought about to increase the profit margins in a high potential area of their organisation.  The role will require a significant amount of relationship building with key non-finance contacts, gaining buy-in and also developing in depth understanding of the commercial aspects of the business area.  Ultimately you will be asked to deliver a comprehensive, best in class decision support, budgeting and forecasting service to the Company's Key Stakeholders.  The Finance Business Partner will support the business in the production of robust revenue and capital budgets, rolling forecasts and 5 year plans.  In addition, you will provide effective business partnering to the business, challenging performance and translating financial reports in to actionable insight.  A full and detailed job description will be provided on request.

Finance Business Partner - required experience:

- Qualified Accountant with a confident personality, and who is able to build strong, long lasting professional relationships with finance and non-finance stakeholders at all level

- Strong commercial and financial acumen and able to develop excellent of the key business drivers

- Ability to challenge current practice and processes with an eye for continuos improvement

- Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail
