Our client is a long established privately owned company based in East Hull and with a track record of growth and success in their sector. A vacancy has arisen for a Company Accountant to undertake an all round very hands on role and suitable for either a qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA, part qualified or qualified by experience accountant.

THE ROLE

-Reporting to the Directors, the successful candidate will take responsibility for the day to day running of the finance function and supervise/lead an office team of five
-Preparation of monthly management accounts, cashflows, preparation of payroll using Sage


THE CANDIDATE

-You will be an experienced accountant with a demonstrable track record of success in a similar role
-Ideally CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified, qualified by experience and part qualified candidates will all be considered with the relevant skills and background
-You will have excellent communication skills and be able to build strong working relationships based on trust and respect
-A seasoned user of computer systems, previous experience of Sage would be desirable but not essential, however competent Excel skills are important for the role

-Our client has been established in Hull since the mid 1970s and is a leading player in their industry sector. Based in East Hull it is within easy access of the A63 and only a few miles from the Humber Bridge and Holderness villages
