My client is a Natural Resources business with offices globally who are now looking for a Finance & Administration Manager to head up their operations in West Africa.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience of working onsite at either a working mine of onshore oil and gas operation.

The ability to speak both French and English is highly advantageous as this is a 6&2 fly in, fly out, rotational role with full remit for running the operations and acting as the critical link with Head Office.

The successful applicant will be responsible for Finance, Administration of office, Local Procurement, IT, Tax and Legal compliance and dealing with government agencies.

The running of local accounts, management accounts, local statutory reporting, tax, audit and compliance and monitoring of local controls, including accounts payable, procurement, etc is key.

The purpose of this job is to ensure the implementation of financial best practice to effectively manage the core financial and management accounting processes within the mine.
