The Finance Manager role is paramount to the business. This is a very hands-on role, which will allow you to have an immediate impact on all areas of the function.
Regular duties will involve:
* Management accounts and consolidations
* Completing VAT returns and statutory returns
* Factory accounting, costings analysis and management
* Full ledger management up to trial balance, managing debtors
* Multi-company and multi-currency
You will also be involved in analysing data, creating reports for senior management and overseeing the company's IT system with involvement in the upgrade of the current software
This is an opportunity for a genuinely ambitious finance professional as the owners will be looking for this role to develop to Finance Director level in a concise period of time.
To apply, you will be qualified or qualified experience, preferably from an operations environment. You will need to be extremely IT literate - Sage is the current system but the company is looking to upgrade and you will be heavily involved in this.
Given the nature of the role, where you will be communicating with, and providing information to non-finance staff, the ability to translate information effectively is also essential.
