Audit Assistant Manager
Big 4 Practice in the UK are looking to add to their Public Sector teams in Manchester, London, Bristol and Cardiff.
This is a great opportunity to work in both Central Government, Housing, Education, Local Government, and Health.
You will pick up a portfolio of clients and work within a dedicated Public Sector audit department that undertakes financial statement audits, internal audits, and other assurance offerings. You will also have the opportunity to work on joint projects with advisory teams from transaction services, restructuring, and management consulting.
Planning, controls and testing for accounts audits
Budgeting and monitoring financial performances of audits and projects
Leading teams, and managing their work loads accordingly
Building relationships with clients
You will be ACA/CPFA qualified or equivalent
Have external audit experience
Have experience or knowledge of UK GAAP or equivalent
You do not need experience of working in the public sector, as training will be provided for you, although and interest in this field would be advantageous.
Rewards attached to this position are £35,000 - £45,000 dependent on when in the country you wish to work.
