Finance Assistant

A fast-growing and dynamic financial services provider is searching for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their expanding finance team in the heart of Nottingham City Centre. This is a great opportunity for someone studying towards an accounting qualification to gain vital experience alongside a well-established business.

A varied role with a wide range of responsibilities including:

• Supporting month end reporting
• Accruals and prepayments
• Bank / balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting with Accounts Payable and Receivable duties
• Assisting with VAT return preparation
• Ad-hoc duties

With a minimum of 1 years’ experience within a finance background, you will be confident communicating with different stakeholders. In addition, you will be able to demonstrate:

• Excellent communication skills
• Experience within financial services (desirable)
• Able to work to deadlines
• Comfortable working within a team
• Efficient and pro-active work ethic
• Experience with accounting software
