My client, an iconic and independent Cornish hospitality business based in a superb coastal location, are looking to recruit an experienced finance manager to join their close knit finance function. Reporting directly to the General Manager you will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar position reporting in to a GM or FD.
Duties to include, but not limited to:
- Production of weekly flash reports
- Month end management accounts and commentary
- Lead the annual budget and 3-5 year planning process
- Preparation of financial statements and audit file
- Oversee and responsible for internal controls
- Cash flow reporting
- Staff Management and development

Ideally you will have had exposure to, and an understanding of the hospitality and tourism industry and the various revenue streams. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to report financial information in a concise and easy to understand way to non-finance colleagues. A flexible approach to working is required and the ability to maintain a professional and flexible attitude to provide support to the finance team as needed.
