Financial Controller

Blusource Finance are recruiting a Financial Controller for a growing SME business in Coventry, commutable from Banbury, Birmingham, Leicester & Northampton.

Reporting directly into the Managing Director you will bring more commercial value from the finances to assist in decision making .

Your remit will be to improve the forecasting for the company, providing transparency over cashflow, improving controls and processes whilst giving the Managing Director the information needed when making investments or significant business decisions.

What are the day to day responsibilities?

• Reporting monthly operating results and key financial performance data to the Management Director.
• Control and monitoring of cash flow and forecasting requirements.
• Liaison with bankers/lenders and external accountants.
• Supervision of sales ledger, purchase ledger, and payroll
• VAT compliance & PAYE/NI compliance.
• Company insurance & HR

What are we looking for?

You will be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA or ACCA), with previous experience of working in a business which buys and sells products as well as significant experience around importing and exporting. You will have already worked at a Financial Controller level and also be able to demonstrate abilities around project management.
