Financial Controller

A global service organisation is looking to recruit a first class Finance Controller to join the team based in Cheshire. You will provide financial control and management to provide high level data and support to the business to enable successful month-end closure and reporting.

Essential Financial Controller Duties and Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate commercial awareness and strong understanding of business needs
• Apply disciplined and methodical approach towards problem solving and drive process improvement
• Lead, coach and empower team members to broaden and enrich their capabilities
• Manage/prepare balance sheet account reconciliations
• Review and verification of balance sheet reconciliations
• Investigating queries and data production
• Generation and review of entity and Business Unit management reports
• Administration of cost reporting and analysis
• Correct and timely completion of statutory reporting of indirect taxation and associated returns
• Assist in complying with the timely submission of monthly US GAAP reporting requirements

As Financial Controller you will have:

• University degree in Finance or Business-related subject, or equivalent experience
• Qualified in a recognised professional accountancy qualification
• Strong analytical and excel skills
• Strong management skills
