Our client is one of the largest locally-based housing groups in the East Midlands. They manage over 8,900 homes and are continually developing new homes for sale, rent, shared ownership and ‘try before you buy’ schemes. They also deliver first class care and support across the region, an invaluable service which allows the most vulnerable members of their communities to maintain their independence.
The housing market is facing change and challenges; as a result their focus is on improving services and refining their strategic direction in order to continue to thrive. 

The Director of Finance and Resources is key to this success – providing strategic leadership, defining financial strategies and developing their audit, ICT, communications and insurance offering.
Due to retirement, they are now looking to recruit an innovative and inspirational leader to take up this position. With a passion for social housing, care and support you will already hold a senior management role and be looking for your next challenge.

You will hold a financial qualification (e.g. CIPFMA, CIMA, ACA or ACCA) and membership to an accountancy body. An expert in your field, you will have up to date knowledge of financial regulation, strategy and policy teamed with treasury management experience.
Additionally, an understanding of audit and ICT practice and the ability to oversee and advise on the strategic focus of these areas is essential.
