Management Accountant

Our client, a highly successful niche manufacturer is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join their Group Accounts team during an exciting period of growth. They are within easy access of the A63 on the outskirts of Hull and will offer the right individual a great opportunity to have a varied role and be a key player in driving the business forward. Reporting into the Group Accountant, the role will include the following duties:

* Preparation of weekly and monthly KPI's

* Preparation of monthly management accounts for the group including detailed management information pack and commentary

* Variance analysis and reviewing key variances with Operational Managers

* Consolidated quarterly forecasts and budget process

* Prepare weekly rolling 13 week cashflow forecasting

* Prepare year end reporting pack, statutory reporting and tax analysis

* Develop, design and implement improved reporting, analysis and internal controls

* Develop strong relationship with the operational managers and teams

* Intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations

The ideal candidate will:

* Actively studying CIMA or ACCA

* Have vast experience of a similar position within the manufacturing/ distribution or engineering sector

* Relevant management accounting experience

* Able to give financial knowledge to non-financial managers

* Ability to drive change
