Commercial Accountant

An exciting commercial accountant opportunity has arisen to join a rapidly growing business which provides support to the NHS. As a Commercial Accountant you will supports bids, tenders, and Commercial Finance negotiations across the business and work closely with NHS provider organisations ensuring continuity of commercial contracts and billing processes whilst providing the highest standard of customer care.

Main duties & responsibilities:

*Supports bids, tenders, and Commercial Finance negotiations across the business
*To assist the Head of Commercial Finance to analyse monthly performance and explain commercial impacts based on changes in the projections
*To assist the Head of Commercial Finance with the commercial finance elements of change control notes, where necessary
*Management and updating financial models for key business areas
*Responsible for creation and review of pricing and cost models for bids and tenders, as required
*Overseeing the P&Ls and supporting Assistant Accountant in transposing these into financial models.
*Offer support with commercial consideration including all Capital spend and Staff Resourcing
*Assessing the profitability of large contracts and projects
*To pro-actively line manage the Commercial Finance Team including managing and enhancing review processes and controls to ensure the team is focused and achieves the appropriate level of turnaround in relation to their task list.
*To oversee the contractual invoicing and all work required to support invoicing
*Assist finance with identifying the cash flow impact of invoicing
