Audit and Accounts Semi Senior

This Accounts & Audit Semi Senior position is located in Brighton with a fantastic accountancy practice. Our client is looking for a hardworking and committed team player to join an exciting audit and accounts team responsible for servicing a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors. There is no prerequisite to have audit experience but an interest is essential.

Description

The successful Accounts & Audit Semi Senior will be/have the following:

Work with a dedicated client base and run an exciting portfolio

Preparation of accounts dealing with a mixed client base up to £100m turnover

Producing corporation tax returns

Working in a team on a variety of audits for different sectors reporting to the manager

Attend on site field work for testing stages

Produce VAT returns & management accounts assignments for your dedicated portfolio

Profile

Up to date knowledge of UKGAAP accounting and auditing standards, and statutory/ management accounts experience.

Be able to meet set deadlines and work within budget

IT literate with strong Excel skills

Sage & IRIS experience

A minimum of 3 years experience working in a mixed accounts/auditing role in a U.K. practice (audit experience isn't essential

Job Offer

£20,000-£30,000 dependent on experience.
