Assistant Management Accountant

Due to an internal promotion, our exclusive client is looking to appoint an experienced Assistant Management Accountant. This opportunity offers a broad remit with excellent business visibility - you will enjoy a commercial role with exposure to senior management and other key stakeholders within the business.

You will report into a CIMA qualified Finance Manager who will provide comprehensive training and study support to facilitate advancement opportunities for the successful individual.

Your remit will include:

*Assisting in the production of management accounts and other financial information for the business
*Accruals, prepayments and journals
*VAT returns
*Bank reconciliations
*Exposure to interim and year-end audit packs
*Assisting with budgeting and cash flow forecasting
*Opportunity for involvement in upcoming projects relating to business growth and efficiency control

To be considered:

*You will be actively studying CIMA, ACCA or ACA - alternatively you will be fully AAT qualified and keen to pursue further study
*You will have relevant experience within a fast-paced finance environment in a similar level role
*You will be able to demonstrate strong systems skills including advanced Excel
*You will have a proactive working approach and be keen to develop your own skillset
