Head of Commercial Finance
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an innovative, strategic and pragmatic individual to join a reputable global pharmaceutical company in the Surrey area as Head of Commercial Finance for the UK subsidiary. You will support the development of the Finance team and lead all commercial finance activities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate, timely and reliable monthly financial performance reports and report the key risks and opportunities versus budget / forecast
- Provide actionable information on sales performance to the Insights team
- Construct financial representations to illustrate the outcomes associated with alternative pricing / investment options.
- Seek to continuously improve the efficiency of reporting processes, and maintain controls to assure the validity of the underlying datasets.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with the Sales and Marketing Directors, support the brand teams in managing their full P&L and provide appropriate input to brand team and sales cycle meetings.
- Through understanding the commercial and regulatory environment in which the business operates, provide valuable input and ideas across Sales and Marketing.
- Lead the delivery of budget and forecasts, ensuring there is clear guidance to the business and identify key risks and opportunities through detailed analysis of sales forecasts and assumptions.
- Develop a commercially aware and customer-focused culture in your team and deliver high levels of performance through effective team work and individual development.
The ideal Commercial Finance Manager will be a graduate, qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA). You will have experience of managing teams in a multinational environment and a proven track record of achievements and the successful delivery of projects. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.
