Robertson Bell Finance are working closely with a public sector partnership based in central London, to seek an ambitious and highly motivated Financial Accountant. Reporting in to the Head of Finance and directly line managing the Financial Assistant you will be a valued member of a small finance team.
The Financial Accountant responsibilities are; working closely with the head of finance to produce the annual budgets and forecast reports throughout the year; assisting with the production of the financial statements; ensure month end reporting is carried accordingly on a timely basis; liaising closely with budget holders and leading monthly meetings; overseeing the work of the finance assistant; maintain the monthly balance sheet reconciliations; liaise with external stakeholders to resolve any outstanding queries.
The successful candidate will be part qualified and still actively studying towards their qualification. This role will suit someone looking to take the next step on their career trajectory and seeking to gain excellent experience in an organisation that supports and develops its staff. Excellent analytical skills are essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance staff.
