Commercial Finacial Accountant
Our client is open to strong candidates from across different Business Sector
Costs on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, with commentaries by nature of expenses and by project
Assist in the budget process and ensure the successful completion of the design process
Run the sequence of allocation to help produce the P&L of the Branch - for IT and be able as back up to run the process for central services and indirect costs
Prepare the recharges of the Branch : accruals for recharges from/to other units in respect of IT.
Prepare the monthly re-forecast & ad hoc reports
Maintenance of Business structure in Access G/L and Union Square Project Accounting Packages
Maintenance of Cost Allocation keys (by project code/analysis code as is), documenting methodology
Participating in the budget / forecast process.
Monitoring costs accruals pre-month-end to minimise post month-end adjustments.
Ensuring that cost recharges are in accordance with budget or SLA guidelines and communicating the recharges to General Accounting.
Providing summaries of costs by project code (project analysis code).
Ensuring prompt transmission of monthly cost summaries to senior management in IT and
Documenting procedures for all aspects of the job.
Participating in the implementation of IT/Finance/HR related projects.
Assisting HR Department in developing the Business Objectives.

Systems: The candidate will have Strong systems skills. SQL would be an advantage

Involved: The role is a commercial role with a very strong scope for progression to FC, this will require the successfully candidate to be commercially minded, and flexible in their application.
ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent QBE
