Management Accountant

My Client, based in Salford, is looking for a Qualified Management Accountant to join their established team in a modern, relaxed environment. This role will report directly into the Financial Controller where you will analyse the Management Accounts, provide useful commentary and help to drive the business.

As a Management Accountant you will be responsible for preparing and checking the Management Accounts up to the trial balance, producing the P&L, budgeting and forecasting, year end prep (liaising with auditors) and HMRC regulations/compliance as well as VAT returns. You will also be vital in the management of the ledger teams within the business.

The ideal Management Accountant will be expected to:

• Be confident in preparing the Management Accounts as stated above
• Able to present to senior stakeholders within the business
• Be confident enough to challenge managers and offer them an honest opinion drawn from the analysis of the accounts

The ideal candidate will be fully qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA
